How about a call

from Notary Direct from this person who asks me to do a closing and rambles on and on about the fact that it is a Wells Fargo easy closing of 45 or so pages. She is talking really fast about how easy it is and then says "OK, I'll send it right over and by the way we pay $30" She then tries to hang up before I can say anything. Unfortunately, she was told a fee that was 10 times as much (I didn't want it anyway right from the get go after she said Notary Direct) and replies, "OK, I'll see if I can get that approved". Yeh, really! How low can they go?

They call and want you to print the docs, take them to the BO, verify the vin # on the car, check the odometer, have them sign, notarize, AND fax the entire pkg. back for $30! What a joke.

They must always find someone to do it, b/c they never call back and say my fee was accepted.

I did one for them, the first one I did. I told them flat out, that $30 was unacceptable, considering the # of handholding phone calls they do. I said for $75 I'll take the job. It was 3 miles from my house, and I didn't have anything else that day, so I figured might as well pick up some change. She said, ok, this one time. I met the people at a taco place, was there 10 minutes early, getting the VIN # when Notary Direct called. Are you there? I said, actually, YES- 10 minutes early and I'm getting the VIN now. I'll call you when I'm finished. They called as I was packing up. When will you fax? I said in the next 15 minutes, is that speedy enough!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then you have to hang onto the docs until they call to tell you it's ok to send them. They called the next day and I sent them off. The next day they called again. It's ok to send the docs. I had just checked the computer to see if everything had been delivered from closings the previous 2 days. I said, well, I got a call yesterday, and dropped the docs. In fact Wells Fargo already has them, they arrived this morning!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear one hand there has no clue what the other hand is doing!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

So over these guys ! $30 is ridiculous for all they want you to do ! I got them up to $45 for an Auto Signing and its still a waste of time... what a mess.
