Jan Mondragon, All Service Notary & Signings: UGLY

I nominate for Ripoff Artist of the Year 2010:
Jan Mondragon
916-797-0402
All Service Notary & Signings

I have emails of how wonderful I am until after the signing hour. This did not sign, and apparently I am not going to be paid a penny. I don't know yet, as I have not contacted everyone involved, but I am going to full assault mode today. With one exception, she is ignoring my emails and phone calls so I have to assume that she thinks I am not to be dealt with fairly.

This is one I did that she promised to be there in the morning for me if I needed assistance. She did not answer her phone (surprise, surprise!) nor did any of the other emergency numbers available to me. When she did call after my many messages, she was angry that I did not use a credible witness for a man with no valid ID (expired 2 years ago) and dementia, which was information the Mrs. so helpfully supplied, leaving me with no further alternatives.

It recorded with a later signing date and I see that Mr. was signed by another notary stating she was presented with a DL. I do hope it was current.

The exception to which I alluded was an email to me on 2-4-11, wherein she stated that it was signed with no help from me and that she has her lawyers standing by and that I have too much time on my hands. She also indicates that if the client does not sign, she does not get paid.

I believe she is a notary saying she is a signing service. I have asked that All Service be added to SC, but as she has a notary listing, it falls through the cracks there. I have written NR about this, but no reply as of yet.

Beware and be aware of her tactics.

She's in Placer or Lincoln county, Stoli or Goldgirl just might be able to provide more info.

I did two closings for her in November and I just received the payment over the weekend. I had to call and e-mail her all the time. I'll never work for her again.

She's very close by to me and I've never heard of her. I hope something can be done about adding a "signing service" to SC with a notary listing. This is a perfect example of why it's so crucial. Did she disclose her non-payment policy on the confirmation?

Not at all....no disclosures.

She wrote she doesn't owe me because I didn't complete the signining. Yet, when I sent 3 invoices over period of time, she did not dispute any of them, so to me, she indicated an acceptance of the bill through her silence. Just the same as any regular bill collector will agree to be the case.

She is in Lincoln, CA, using a PO box and (oh, clue of clue that I missed because it doesn't print that way on your incoming emails) using a hotmail address. She acted like I knew her from past signings which lulled me into a complacency that I should have questioned further. I searched here, only a couple of posts, not negative, but not linked. Now I know why.

There is a flaw in the system here.

I mailed her a past due notice for two signings I did for her (One back in December) and just received a call from the owner of the PO box that it does not belong to All Services Notary. BIG SURPRISE! DO NOT DO WORK FOR THIS WOMAN!

All Service Notary & Signings, I tried to add to SC months

ago, but couldn't. I also emailed Harry and Tracy @ NotRot to get the gal added, but never received and answer. This is absolutely the one thing that irks me about this site. Had the info been added to Signing Central, you may have avoided your nightmare.
