Not being paid by Propiety, in NC
Don't work for this company! They are scammers. He keeps telling me he mailed my check last Friday..haha its almost a week later and I still don't have it. They bad thing about this is, I live about 40 mintues away from this company!! It would only take a day for this so called check to get here. Any Idea the best way to get my money, besides calling the Lenders?

How long ago did you do the signing - and is this a loan signing? If so, is this company a signing service (which I'm assuming) or a title company..

It is a signing service. I did 2 loan signings at the branch of BOA. So he owes me for 2 signings. It has been almost 30 days. There agreement was 15 days. Which is really unheard of, however I have been paid that before with title companies.

I, personally would wait at least 30 days from
funding before making a stink or getting too aggressive...but that's just me and it's worked for the most part. At the 30-day mark I send a gentle reminder that their invoice is still outstanding.
If you really want to push it, check and make sure your loans funded (recorded docs work nicely for that) and then contact title - just keep in mind you probably risk losing a client - they really don't like, basically, being "snitched" on..

Thanks! I'm not really worry about losing them. Great advice!! But I will keep all this in mind for the future.

This is a common attitude and fear of people new to running their own business. Let me some it up, and if anyone has a problem or a rebuttal , O gawd, please respond. You are running a business, and the purpose of that business is to create a profit. Correct? If a client does not pay you, someone PLEASE explain to me why in the world you would ever work for that client again? If you are not being paid, you have incurred expenses, and not only are you not being reimbursed for those expenses, you are not being paid for your time and expertise (what you are selling.) So, every "client" who does not pay you drives you further into the hole (negative income). Why are you worried about these people every hiring you again? Are you afraid of offending them? They took advantage of you!

Collecting Payment
Is almost as time consuming as actually doing a closing

if they are within 3 -4 hours driving, you should personally go ther, walk in unannounced, say you are there to pick up your check. It worked for me 5 times, never failed.
