Power SpotLight
Many of my appointments are late evening and after dark. It is difficult to see street signs and addresses. I use a hand spot light I bought at Lowes for $10 bucks. Portable. Will recharge when needed by using the car cigarette lighter. A good cheap investment. I hope this helps some of you. I enjoy reading your helpful posts.

That is a great idea. I simply hate it when I can't read addresses due to the dark. Thanks for sharing.

There's an app for that if you have a iphone or a droid. One uses the camera flash and is very bright, just like a flash light, another one has light effects and makes a good book light or night light.

Great tip. Thank you. Developments in the suburbs street signs are attractive in the daytime and impossible to read at night. Many times you have to stop at each block, get out and walk up to the sign if the street parking makes it impossible to pull up close. Will try that!

I have used one for years - comes in Real handy when I am in a rural area (out in the country so to speak). Keep it in my car at all times.

Comes in handy anywhere. I don't think people have seen their own houses after dark the way others do. House numbers above lights and the lights have shades; numbers behind the overgrown bush; not on house or mailbox - on the fence with no lights on or near; on the side of the driveway where the oil is changed and now obliterated; and the list goes on.
Sometimes I'm so irritated I have a hard time telling them that the ambulance may never find them unless theiy list their GPS coordinates during their call.
