Servicelink is open & got calls from a few sm co.'s too

Hate these holidays though, where some are/some are not open.

Just got a call from Nations Direct, and as usual they want me to take a signing for a low ball fee with fax backs. I gave them my fee, and they said the usual, "I will put that in and try to get an approval."

ND is unbelievable

They called me last week for a signing 60 miles round trip, fax back entire BofA package and they offered $60.00. Unbelieveable. They also called recently for an annuity signing. They wanted to pay $30.00. I quoted my fee and they said they would have to get that approved. When they called back with approval, about 10 minutes later, I had already accepted another job for that time and they were very upset that I did not wait for them to get the fee approved. They called back three times wanting an explanation, including their supervisor, not understanding how I could take another job in that short time and not wait for them to get approval of my fee.

I wouldn't feel so bad about taking whatever else came in while you're waiting on their approval because 9 times out of 10 they don't get an approval and they don't bother to call you back to say so.

Believe Me, I don't feel bad

I really don't like working for ND. They drive me crazy with all their phone calls. I will not give in at all on my fees and sometimes they will meet them as I live in rural area and they have no choice if they want the job done. I go to alot of places that no one else in this area is willing to go.

Had a request for a closing in Chase @ 1:30 today

Wasn't available but was surprised anyone would be able to get in the door there.

Local Wells Fargo is open today maybe Chase is to

I was surprised as I went in on Saturday figuring they were closed today. Federal Express is also open and delivering today. Had I know I would not have driven 30 miles on Saturday to drop a package on a Friday signing.

Maybe they were. I thought they were all closed for the Federal Holiday, but evidently not. Never even looked when I was out while during banking hours. Either way I got to do the 100 page signing at 7:30 which worked out better for me as I would have had to turn it down had it been earlier. The BOs thought the bank was closed today too. They thought it was pretty kewl that Chase was sending me out to their house on a bank holiday. I said, "yes, it IS pretty kewl!" LOL
