SOX
I did a signing for them back in December. I had never heard of them, so I put a message on this Forum. I heard the worse of this company after I had already done the signing. Well, I actually got paid after calling and emailing them for 2 weeks. Lets just say, I don't think I will be dealing with them after my first and last signing. I am glad, I got paid but don't want to know what the second time will be.
Thanks for your information on them

You have gained another morsel of wisdom - Congratulations.
That is their MO - hire for one, pay, then hire for lots and not pay.

I did several long distance (miles from my base) signings for them in September, 2010 and I have not been paid yet. I have called, e-mailed, faxed, and begged and still no check. Last week they had the gall to call me to see if I would do a signing for them. I just cannot believe how crooked they are...and told them as soon as they pay me for the late ones they can call again.. I will probably never get paid now but will surely warn others if they don't pay me soon.

That is so frustrating. We do all the work and they keep the money. Leslie is the one I spoke with every time I called. Try asking for her.

Jeannie,
Contact the title company or the loan officer on the file and let them know that you have not been paid for the closings and politely ask if there is anything they can do on your behalf to persuade SOX to pay you. You can even direct them to this website so they can see first hand who is handling their files.
Works for me everytime.
