Slippers 'n' Spandex Notary
Notaries, it has come to our attention that some escrow officers are receiving loan documents back marked up. When doing signings for Notaries To You DO NOT hi-light any part of the loan docs with hi-lighter, or write anything on them with pen or pencil for that matter. If you need to bring something to the attention of escrow please use post it flags instead.
The issue of dress etiquette has been brought up recently also. When doing signings for our company, slippers, spandex, jeans or sweats are not an appropriate form of attire to wear to a notary signing. Wearing slacks or khakis and a nice dress shirt is the preferred dress attire when doing signings for Notaries to You. Failure to comply will result in being removed from our database for any future signings.

(I'm speechless, so no comment, but I think this blast e-mail pretty much tells us everything we need to know about this SS).

Can't help but wonder if this is a "you got what you paid for" kind of thing?
That was good for a chuckle though.

Info you get in life basic training....wth...I've seen a couple notaries however that looked like they just rolled out of bed and threw on an unimpressive wrinkled blouse and skirt, sandals...what the hay, we're Santa Barbara, cool and casual. I've always been expected to be dressed professionally. No leather, piercings, tattoos, exotica, etc.

Look on the bright side.
At least it did not say "Underwear optional."

I got this email too. I wondered who on Earth they are hiring??? High-lighting docs and improper etiquette. I hope they remove those slackers from the database and pay the professionals what we deserve!
