Chicago politics is infamous, but even a California (where it was like summer today!) gal can figure this out: It's because people in the upper class neigborhoods vote and people in the inner city, don't. P.S. Speaking of voting, is Rahm your guy now that he's back on the ballot? I bet he'd plow all the streets! He's so cute.

been a gov't worker for 10 years, and totally involved with the unions, and with the city and state politics...I know how the game is played...

As far as the Gold Coast...well hello...they actually call that neighborhood the GOLD COAST...so that should tell you the 'who' types that live in that area. And I had saw on the news how that areas were all shoveled and plowed, which totally got me pissed!

And Rahm, cute ehh..nice smile And he does seem to have the majority of the vote according to a few polls (40% at last look). I have to say, this mayoral election is def something to watch, even if you're not from Chicago..its very nasty and most comical. Why Mosely Braun called one of the candidates "a crack head" and it was caught on tape! Totally 'cracked' me up! LOL
