United Lenders

Anyone else get the e-mail ULS sent about reducing there fee's! I suppose they think we don't have expenses with gas going crazy. Have formed a reply as yet.
Any thoughts?

i received their email today. Lower fees to the notary. When I check NR I find they are very slow pay if they do pay.

I also received the email. So, their increased expenses due to 'click fees' are going to be passed along in the form of $10 of each closing booked through such 'clicks' by reducing the notary's fee. My question is why don't they pass the fee on to the client who did the 'clicking' instead of the notary?

They said the average set of loan docs is 55 pages and they are going to pay $65-$75 for edocs closings with printing of one set of docs.

Does anyone know what lenders have 45-65 pages that use ULS?

If the closing was 10 min away and took only 20 min would be the only way it would be worthwhile.

Late to the party as I just got the e-mail

But here's my response.

"I don't believe I've ever worked with you, but thank you for contacting me. I think you fail to take several things into account:

1. MY expenses are up too, especially the price of the gas to get to your signings;

2. If loan docs, especially rescindable loans, the signers MUST receive a copy of the documents at time of signing;

3. I did not negotiate a fee reduction with your client...if that's what you wish to do that's up to you but I can't help you fund that business decision.

I can do these for $100 in my home county only. I can do them for $85 if you overnight the documents to me and they are within my home county. Under no circumstance will I travel more than 20-25 miles round trip, including package drop.

Thank you."

45-65 pages - I wonder if these are loan modification applications...just a thought - don't think I've EVER seen a lender package that small - and where's the title docs??
