got a couple of calls from SOX

SOX (Sign on the X) left a message on my cell and home phone yesterday and just picked up the messages this morning. Thanks to the reviews posted here I have decided its in my best interest and my bank accounts not to waste time working for nothing for them! they still owe me from a year ago. They called me a couple of months ago, i couldn't believe it. Asked if they were nuts calling people they owe money to. They must of not been able to find someone, because they call me 3 times that day. saying they would overnight my payment if i did one that night lol

Definitely stay away from them. They owe me from over 2 years ago. I tried 2 collections agencies, BBB, along with other attempts to no avail. I finally wrote them off.

I cannot believe they are still in business!!!

I would have told them to overnight the past due payment

and I would "think" about accepting more work from them but not until then. Since they are willing to say anything to get the work done without paying, I wouldn't have a problem saying anything to them to get paid what they owe.

Unbelievable that they are still able to hire anyone...most likely new signing agents who aren't aware of their bad practices. Sucks that they have to do business that way as I'm sure they would scream if they didn't receive their paychecks!

Did anyone notice that SOX is listed as a provider for AmTrust along with another SS that is mentioned alot on this forum.
