turbo tax and Notary

Does anyone use turbo tax and know how to put in Notary dollars earned? I added 1099s, other income not on a 1099s, deducted supplies. Then it talks about Self employment tax and says to add Net Income earned as a Notary? Are they asking for the value of Notary fees? Help please

Yes you are. That is where you put the $ that your state allowes you to charge for each Notary act/jurat. I love turbo tax.

Thank you very much this always confuses me becuase of the caculation they are asking to make. I assume since I already know my Notary fee costs there is no need to caculate.

I use TT & it will calculate the notary fee exemption from

SE tax, if you choose to take it. It's been discussed before. See msg. 372669. Smile
