This has been discussed at least a hundred times. Try using different words in the search. It has to be there. BTW I love my hp 4100

I'm sure you're right about the discussions about printers, but as I read this thread, it occurred to me that, since technology changes over time - and rather rapidly - it's probably a good idea to revisit this issue from time to time. Also, I don't think there have been too many discussions specifically asking about dual-tray laser printers, at least not that I can remember.

Re: thank you for your help
When you decide on the printer that you want, I suggest that you buy it on eBay. I have bought new HP printers at a substantially reduced price. There are several HP4200 printers listed:

I have an HP 2430dtn and an HP 1320 dpn. The 2430 cost a good bit more but has been a workhorse for me.

Re: not brother--never ever brother--- heres why
I agree. I will never buy a brother ever again.
I just had both my brothers go out back to back last week. They were still are under 1 year brother warrantee. I called them to get things fixed.
The man asked me when I put my cartage in my printer. I told him last week. He said "You not know when you put cart rage in printer me no talka you". I said let me look at my calendar. He said "No me no want you make up date. You not know when you put cartage in your printer me no talka you". After 20 minutes of that we hung up.
I needed to get to an appointment. While driving I called Brother back to see if I could get the name of the repair company they use in my area.
The gal that answered me asked me if I was standing next to my printer. I told her no I was driving. I just want to know who to take my printer to so I can get it repaired. She said " You no stand next to you printer me not talka you." :" I just tell you. You no stand next to your ptinter me not talka you." Over and over.
I was so mad. I decided that I would get the word out Brothers sucks. They don't stand behind their printers. I called a printer repair service here in town. He said that Brother printers have parts that can't be repaired. Basicly they are throw aways.
However I purchased an extended warantee from Office Depot. All I need to do is send my printer to then and in 15 days they will send me the full price of the printer. That was the best money I spent.

I got around the drum issues, by ordering a part on line. They give you instructions on how to install the drum and it cost $20.
