Altisource Portfolio Solutions oops, sorry

Has anyone else been contacted by this company requesting registration? After submitting the usual documents I received and email that I am approved by their Compliance Dept. The final step will be to register online for REALTrans e-commerce platform and I will be paid electronically. Also states that this final step has no cost at all. Well, when you get into the docs that they want you to click agree to, they mention a $50. set up fee to use the site, then also a fee for every job completed. I have emailed them asking what this is all about and am awaiting a response. Anyone else have any experience with this company? What a waste of time....

I got their e-mail but had several questions

about the agreement - I wrote to Pablo with my questions/concerns - I haven't had a response yet. I won't submit any signup paperwork until I have the questions resolved.

I told him it could not be done and that he would have a problem with that. He then emailed me that it would be okay without doing that.

I have experience with this company. And all good by the way. The signup was a little confusing but there is no set up fee. Believe me... I have also been paid. It is a direct deposit payment. The only "kink" I ran into in the signup was a technical problem that REAL Trans software was not compatible (at least at that time) with IE9. I had to complete registration on IE8. If you have concerns you might want to email Jared Morling. He is Manager of the Natl. Notary Network. Great guy and he should put your concerns to rest. Believe me like you, I have become more skeptical and cautious. Not a waste of time.
