Don't you just LOVE it

Received a call from a company who wanted to add me to their database. Here is what they offered and WANTED: $60.00/w edocs, fax backs (about 20-40 pages - and they don't pay for fax backs), you must have at least $100,000 E&O coverage and your auto insurance had to be at least $300,000/$500,000. AND, you MUST have an NNA background check. I told them no way was I interested, so, what did they do, they sent me their sign up package. Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aside from the rest of the bizarre offer...

My personal car insurance coverage is not their business. IMO companies that ask for this excessive "junk" have no clue.

Yes, they have no clue, but I suspect they are playing on

the fact that there are newbies out there that are also clueless. I read on another forum yesterday of a NSA that was offered a low fee with no edoc fee. It seems this particular co. decided to cut costs by deciding they were no longer paying for printing docs. LOL LOL

The really sad thing is that some moron is going to accept that offer.

Re: Don't you just LOVE it - Evidently

from the looks of their rating in SC some people must be taking some very low ball jobs and then rating them very high or, they are rating themselves - in any event, I won't even get out of bed for a $60.00 fee. Of course, I do realize that that is MY personal preference - !!!!!!!

Thanks, Monica. I was solicited & signed up with them a

few months ago, but listed my fees. I've never gotten a call from them & now I know for sure that's a good thing. I suspected I wasn't called because of fees. Oh, well..... :-)

You don't have to accept what they OFFER. You tell them what you charge. Then it's their decision. That happened to me, I told them my fee and that if they wanted it done correctly (instead of hiring an idiot to do the closing for a few $) that's what I charge. They agreed, and paid me within 30 days. They then sent me this huge package of crap to fill out, which is still sitting on my desk as I'm too busy to tell them what my grandmother had for breakfast on March 14th, 2003. Sort of over the top with paperwork. We each have to make our own decisions, but at least approach it with what you require, not what they try to get away with.
