I found a free app for a rescission calendar for my Iphone. Just search rescission calendar. Nice to have handy! Has anyone else used this app?

Do you have to pay for it?
What happened to your fingers? Wouldn't they be faster?

I just don't get the point...
I can count to 4 - know Sundays and holidays - maybe I'm just too old school - I'm a figure-it-out-myself type person.
Further, I can't remember the last time I had to calculate rescission dates - wait, yes, I do remember - 4 years ago - once since I started here in Florida in 2006. They're ALWAYS filled in for me.

Once in a while there is a minor bank holiday you may have forgotten about, plus it just makes things a little easier.

It's federal holidays that count - not necessarily
bank holidays - and the rescission dates are already there..
Admit it - it's a guy/toy thing...right??...

Re: It's federal holidays that count - not necessarily
Have you ever gone to an appointment towards the end of a 16 hour day? Or maybe waaay early in the morning before you've had your coffee (if you're not a morning person...)? Or with a head cold that has you groggy? Or ________ (fill in the blank.) Take your pick.
Personally, I like the double check factor. I don't trust the rescission calendars any more than I always trust my brain to function perfectly. If we both come up with the same date, it's a pretty safe bet we've got it right!
As for it already being there, depends on the lender. I probably see as many left blank as filled in. Then there the ones like the one I did last night that had the transaction date the same as the signing date (yesterday), but the end of the rescission period ending date was shown as today. Clearly not correct (not even on the rescission calendar they included in the package). Go figure...
BTW, I also count it out with the borrowers so that they have a good mental picture of when it ends. May be overkill, but it couldn't hurt, as my grandma used to say.

ok - so it is Free? If so, go for it. If you have to pay,
it is a waste. JMO

There's a Geico commercial currently running in NY
where the guy asks: "Do people use smartphones to do dumb things?"
This would probably be one of them...

I have five fingers on each hand. Can compute any recission
date, without removing my shoes and socks.
