Tom Jones is one of my favorite song artists. I saw in in LV years and years ago. He's better than ever at 71 years of age, still working and sounding great! He's a great entertainer. I remember the women in the audience throwing their panties at him on stage. Amazing man, Sir Tom Jones.

OMG. I was 15 and saw him at the Westbury (L.I.) Music Fair. They threw panties, bras and motel room keys at him! LOL!

Agree Susan - I have enjoyed every day coming to the site and finding Sylvia's pick for the day. It's fun to see and hear the oldies. Agree that if you don't like it don't click and go on with your life. Keep it coming Sylvia for those of us who enjoy it.

There is a difference in posting political messages in this forum and posting a friendly Good Morning - which, by the way, I was requested to do several weeks ago. I used to do the same a couple of years ago and I hadn't realized how some members missed those postings.

LOVE Tom Jones..I have seen him 3 times and was thinking Id better see him again soon..! This rendition of Green Green Grass appears to be a very early recording of this song. As he got a little older it was sung with so much more power and emotion!! Thanks! Im getting out a CD of his!
