Hoping Direct Deposit Catches On

Just a quick note I got my first direct deposit check from an agency. It would be great if the larger agencies could implement this payment system although it's a little scary handing over routing bank numbers. I would only provide the information to well established respected agencies.

Everytime you write a check to someone/anyone, they have your routing number and acct#

As a former banker, many people don't realize that they also have the right to reverse the deposit. I like direct deposit also, but after seeing a number of paychecks pulled over the years from brick and morter companies in my own town, I would be a little cautious with companies I couldn't go and knock on their door directly.
