I just fired myself from a SS I loved
An email exchange that ends 3 years of a great relationship with a SS.
And I sincerely appreciate all that you have done For me too! As a retired Operations Manager for ATT my worth calculates different for me. We will Both survive this Stephanie. Good luck!
I didn't drop the fee for this type of closing. It is supposed to be around $85 but I made some special arrangements to get you $100.
Thank you, Stephanie
Yea I know, it has been nice Stephanie but cutting my fees and doing more work is not profitable for me. It truly has been a pleasure, honestly.!

That is too bad.
Thank you, Stephanie
No, sorry I have proven I can do the job (over 250) but don't want to start doing this for anybody. You know I love you guys but, no.

James, We only require fax backs on high-profile signings at the end of the month, so you are not able to complete this for us?
Thank you, Stephanie Whoa! I don't do faxbacks...you better get another notary for this. I have NEVER done faxbacks for TRG and won't!

Hi James,
There are 5 attachments:

3. Customer Copies Part 2 (Please print one copy of this section)
4. Sign and Notarize (Please print one copy of this section)

I'm confused. They wanted to pay you $100 to print a 2 sets of docs and fax every page back to them??? And you're sorry to see them go?!?!? Am I missing something?

That's funny, of course not. The relationship was great, the policy change sucked!

Yeah, TRG and I were partnered with no problems
until the beginning of the year. All of sudden, one of their coordinators refused to meet my fee. All along, the others had no problem with it up until then. So, they took me off their data base. Aw well ... whatcha gonna do ......

Re: Yeah, TRG and I were partnered with no problems
I haven't worked for TRG for quite a while. They've called, yet not met my fees lately. As a matter of fact, they called last night but I missed the call. Oh well!

I can understand saying "no". I don't think I agree with
reposting emails. I wouldn't have done it for $100 w/faxbacks either.

"I made some special arrangements to get you $100. "
Gee, how generous of them... you were special enough to get a whopping $100.

MW/VA says "I don't think I agree with reposting emails."
WHY? There was nothing in James' repost of the email that identified either the company or the scheduler. There are 50 gazillion "Stephanies" in the world - still doesn't identify anyone concrete.

Divorce, notary style
Idiots like your ex-SS are what is driving this profession into the ground. $200-$250 notary fees are not that uncommon at all on a HUD today- although we usually have to split that with the SS. Now we have these huge conglomerate SSs competing for all the business, claiming they can do it for less and less (think LSI) - and the "less" comes out of our hides.
Then they add insult to injury and expect you to fax back "copies of the signed loan documents"! And act like they're breaking the bank to pay you a lousy $100. Yikes! Reading the e-mail exchange, it looks like the SS just wants to impress its "high profile" clients with instant results by expecting you to fax fack ... for FREE (this is after already cutting your fee)! Gimmee a break.
You did what I would have done, JD. Kicked them to the curb. We don't need this! Don't look back. I know you won't.

Re: Divorce, notary style
If there's anything I've learn in the four years I've been in this business, there is no loyalty for sure. Only what have you done for me lately. The good news is if you're lucky and good, new clients offering what you want (for the time-being) will pop up. That's the nature of this beast.

Hmmm, I think I would have done it & notified them (in
advance) that there would be a nominal fax-back fee ($25?), to cover time, costs & travel (back to the office to fax & the for the add'l trip to drop off)). I then would have explained that all faxing would have to wait untill ALL signing appts were completed (the end of the day), and this would delay ONing docs until the next day. Really - for a lousy xxx, they think they can tie up your WHOLE D*MNED day! When they protest, I would say: "Now Stephanie, you wouldn't like YOUR borrowers to wait b/c I had to fax back someone ELSE"s pkg - now would you??????" Other than that, James: GRRRRRRR!!!

Re: You are very unprofessional
It is probably best to not post emails that are supposed to be between a contracted signing agent and a signing company.
Would you like your signing clients as well as your signing companies posting slanderous posts about you? My guess is probably not.
You should spend more time doing your job rather than sitting on Not-Rot all day long posting negative blogs. People will not feel sorry for you.
