I was signing up ....until I found this:
Independent Contractor Agreement Contractor agrees to pay Notary Finder 123 the sum of $25.00* for each non-loan document signing, and a sum of $75.00* for each Loan document signing. Notary Finder 123 fee is due prior to each signing. Notary finder 123 shall not be liable to signer for any costs or expenses incurred by signer in the performance of services rendered by signer under the terms hereof, unless Notary Finder 123 shall first have expressly agreed in writing to accept such liability

Don't worry, Shawna, there will be plenty of new XYZ notaries who will consider that an opportunity.

I was just checking my Iphone for notary apps. I found this one and excitement came over me until I read the fine print.

What company would use this site to find a notary,
knowing that all the prices would be marked up by either $25 or $75?
I wonder who owns this site. I'd also like to know if there will be any "greasing the wheels" to get companies to use this site.
Fails the smell test in my book.

Re: Um wow..did you see this?
I can just imagine some notary getting an assignment from them for $65.00 and paying them $75.00 for the assignment. That appears to be the mentality of the notaries they want.

According to the fee thing the loan signing flat
rate is $200 - of which $75 goes back to this outfit. My question is how they get THEIR money in advance when we don't -
It's a strange fee structure they have going there. I would think they'd charge the requestor when they find a notary for them - not charge the notary..

sould like a fishing expidition to get names of escrow, title, lendrs so they can contact them. Offer less than to do the signing for a little less than the $200 flat fee, And then assign the signing to the notaries for $45. Great plan. LOL!
