Years ago company same name big scam no pay

20 miles does not even cover half of Ocean County, when someone sends me to LBI it could be a 45-50 mile trip one way if they are all the way at the Beach Haven area.

Hey if you made more than 60 bucks yesterday good for you.

So today around 4:15pm, I see that I have FIVE voicemails- all from them. As I begin to listen to them, the phone rings, it's them. Will I do the closing for them? I reiterate my fee and they try once more to lowball me. I say Nope, see ya. She say, "Ok, we'll meet your price".
Okay, what time is the appointment set up for?
4:00PM
But it's 4:15PM now.
Yes, Can you still do it?
...hmmm, well sure- send me the docs.
I call the borrower who is leaving for the weekend, but agrees to do the signing right then. Signing goes well, nothing unusual in the docs, some faxbacks, UPS label provided, so it wasn't so bad.

Now I hope they actually pay me.
