Re: National Link - anyone get their check yet?

My NL checks always come on or about the 20th of each month, without fail... until this month.

Vendor billing said, "...it hasn’t been billed for or they haven’t posted payment for it yet depending on when they would have got it."

That wasn't a terribly clear answer. It means they either didn't get my invoice or they did and it just hasn't been entered in the system for some reason.

Glad to hear it's not just me.... well, not glad...

Do you guys bill National Link on the same form together with ServiceLink?

Re: National Link - anyone get their check yet?

I received a check from NL today for a siging that I did on 6/7. It was a rare one, a split with 3 different SAs (or would you call that a 3-way?) Their system only has room for 2 and I was the odd man out. I did find out that they are in the midst of rearranging and/or reorganinzing the A/P system to become more efficient, maybe even consolidating all divisions into one monthly invoice and one monthly check. It does make sense to me and I would prefer one invoice, one check. Right now I have 3 different spread sheets tracking SL, SL-ATM and NL. I created their billing invoice in Excel so all the entries auto-total at the bottom. My excel sheet looks just like their billing invoice and is so much easier for me to make entries.

If you are over due for a payment, you might want to send a quick email. That's how I found out "I wasn't in the system for that order". System migrations...data gets lost.

Re: National Link - anyone get their check yet?

That's why I sent an email to find out. The person I work with at NL is always great to work with and she's quick to respond...so I knew I could ask her without it sounding like I was upset (I'm not). I know there are lots of changes going on with them, so I wanted to keep on top of it.

Nope, they go on separate invoices. It's a bit of a pain, but it's not ridiculous.

Re: National Link also lowered their fees to 55.00 for edocs

I see you are all still working with National Link a part of Service Link. Neither company calls me anymore since they lowered their fees to an obscene 55.00 for edocs. It has been 2 months at least since they called. I too am in S.CA. Are you all working for 55.00? I used to get at least 10 calls a month and it has dropped to 0.

When I was getting signings from N.L. & S.L. I would invoice once a month (both invoices included in the same envelope to the same address) & I was paid about 2-3 weeks later. Always paid...

Just curious...
Susan

I did not accept the "offer" -- no way. no how. My last job for them paid $155, thank you very much. They still call me. Not as much as before, but they do call... and it's usually for jobs that involve quite a distance to drive.

I would be the walmart greeter b4 working for $55

I received the call and declined to reduce my fee. I didn't receive as many calls mid month but received plenty month end and my regular fees.

did not lower my fee either.

this was the only one I did for them in June for my regular fee - and none in July from NationalLink or ServiceLink

Re: National Link - anyone get their check yet?

I think they are starting to suffer from what Nation's Direct has become. Let's make everything as complicated as possible. I was told that I was paid on July 18 for a signing completed on the 15th. Wha?
Per their procedures, I'm not supposed to send an invoice until the end of the month. No way could I be paid that fast with their setup.
