Psychic Stuff: Premonitions of Business Calls Come True
I wanted to ask if there are any notaries who share this phenomenon as I have. First, it seems whenever I have a passing thought of a former client I haven't heard from in a while, I am surprised with a call from in within 1-3 days after I think of them. This has happened at least 5 times now and I've only been in business 1.5 years. But there's something that's even more amazing.
The real thing that blew me away was the first time this happened I thought would be the last. I was approaching my office elevator and within 25 feet there was some guy calling me on his cell. I picked up the call as he approached. I had never met him before.
The biggest thing that has happened was I was depositing a check at Wells Fargo near my office and was filling out the slip at the writing island. My cell rang and I tapped on my headset to answer the phone. As I spoke my business name, the man next to me practically threw his headset onto the writing area and stood away with his jaw dropped. He had called me for mobile notary services and was standing right next to me! I knew it wasn't a set up or trick because he had his document all ready to notarize there so it wasn't like he was playing a game.
Has anyone every had these kind of strange things happen before?

LOL!!!! No, but one can always hope!! :>)
You gotta love THAT - although I suppose it could give someone a heart attack! That is just too, too funny!
Any chance this might be contagious? If so, please send some good thoughts out to the rest of us! I hope your 6th sense continues to work for you...

OMG, I'm not the only one! This happens to me quite a bit. I'll be thinking of a signing agency or title company that I haven't heard from in awhile and then I'll get a surprise call from them a couple days later. I'll be driving home from a closing, passing through many suburbs, and just wonder about doing a closing in a certain area/neighborhood and then somehow I get scheduled for one within days in that very same place! There's alot of coincidence and sycronicities with this job-at least for me (it keeps it interesting), too many to mention. Here's an example-I just did a closing for someone who lives on the same street as one of my relatives, only to find out that my sister, who is also a mobile notary, had done a closing for another one of their neighbors a couple months before! So yes, strange/amazing things do happen on this job.

It's happened to me also. I had to go to this town about 30 miles south of me for personal reasons and driving through there I thought to myself, I haven't had any signings down here in quite a while and wonder if there is another notary that I don't know of covering this area. That was on a Sunday. On Tuesday and Wed I get a call to go there not once but twice. Weird.

Sounds like the "Secret" to me...
I've been using it for years. Long before I even knew it was a "Secret".
But it's more than that IMO. I, too, believe it to be intuition. Especially when it comes to people close to me or that I feel I have a bond with. It used to be that if they would pop in my head, I would just let it pass. But now when someone pops in my head I will immediately call them. Not to my surprise, they say, OMG, I was just thinking about you. Or it ends up they are in an emotional state that they need support. My friends and family have learned to expect that of me. Although, we still get astounded at the time. It seems rather sinister and I get worried that I may be a witch or something...lmao...oh wait, so THAT'S why they call me a WITCH???
Anyway, I'm so happy when I hear from those title companies or people needing gn work. It's all relative.
Be careful what you ask for...you just may get it...that would be the G, B, and U too!!! Just my humble outlook and perception of life.

I think this is part of the brain's mechanism of survival from pre-civilization. I'm certain our ancestors relied on these intuitive talents to get through life, it certainly seems plausible since they had no technology and were living in such dire conditions. Thanks for sharing your insight.

hmm, not sure this is the forum for it...
Besides, I can never remember most of them.
Many times it's like what was shared above...I'll think, "hmm, I've not heard from-say...- Mike (from one of my favorite title co.'s) in a while, wonder where he is?" Sometimes minutes later, he'll be ringing my phone.
One time I even woke up thinking about him (no NOT DREAMING about him!!!) and my phone was ringing. Guess who it was? He asked me what took me so long to answer the phone...lmao!!!
Another time, I thought about not hearing from Negrete's for a while (of course I get paranoid that they've "found" someone else-I LOVE them over there! It's like you're a part of the family!!!), and I'll get a call from Chantal or Lola. I say, OMGosh, I was just thinking about you, they laugh. Chantal even said once, yeah, this one just became available and I thought of you. Hmmmmmm
Not sure who thought of who first...LOL

I viewed a very interesting piece on www.wimp.com (which I don't have time to search for right now - but wish I knew what it was titled) that had a logical explanation for these types of things. It was all about numbers and probabilities - not much more than that. It was a different way of looking at the same kinds of situations. (I think "coincidence" was part of the subject...)
Anyway, the point was (to the limited extent that I can remember) that when any activity happens often enough (like all the numbers of people we meet with) certain things we consider to be coincidences become likelihoods.
But having the guy next to you in line calling? That one takes the cake, imo!
[Docs are done; gotta run!]
