Strange email for an assignment...

Hello Notaries,

This assignment pays $55.00 plus $10.00 for postage reimbursements making the total pay for this job $65.00. If you accept this assignment you will need to send all document's back priority mail the cost of priority mail is between $4.50 - $7.00. If the cost of postage exceed $10.00 you will be reimbursed any additional cost. This notary assignment will be awarded to the first notary to accept it.

We will need all documents signed and notarized. When presenting the documents to the claimant please have them sign them in the following order. The two Limited Power of Attorney, Letter of Assignment, The two Request letter for overage / surplus/ excess funds, The two affidavit of heir-ship forms, The Affidavit of Identity form, The claim for excess proceeds funds forms, W-9, Excess Funds Disclosure. Please have the claimant provide you with a copy of their valid Drivers Licensee or State ID we will need a copy. Please be sure to never leave any copies of the documents with the claimant. Please give me a call when you arrive at the claimants home so that I can speak with them before you start the notary process. If at any time the claimant have any questions please don't hesitate to give me a call on the spot. Your check will be mailed out to you 30 days after we receive all the documents and your invoice back in our office. Please email your invoice to [e-mail address] or fax invoice to (xxx) xx-xxxx for faster payment. If we receive your invoice and w-9 by fax or email you may receive your payment before the 30 day period. Once the assignment is complete please call me (xxx) xxx-xxxx or (xxx) xxx-xxxx.
This assignment will be awarded to the first notary that respond with a email informing us that they have accepted this assignment.

We would like for this assignment to be completed on tomorrow if possible but no latter then Tuesday 2, 2011. Please email or call to accept this assignment.

By accepting this job assignment it is agreed and understood that you will be collecting person information and that you will keep all information collected 100% confidential. It is also agreed that you will not engage in any illegal activities with the information collected from the claimants or xxx.

This sounds like some work I've done a while back for a co.

that does asset recovery--means they find overpayments in r.e. taxes, etc., for heirs.
If it's the same, they are simple & quick, and it's not bad money for this kind of assignment.
It's probably about 15-20 min. tops.

The asset recovery company I've worked with in the past, has about 5 pages, a couple of notarizations, the return Fed Ex envelope and your check, $50, in the package. No waiting 30 days to get paid. Takes probably 10-15 mins.

I replied to a IM with the wrong info, since I didn't pay to much attention to this type of solicitations;
but the company is in: East Chicago, IN 46312
