Yes, Barbara. It really was a wonderful, informative day. I met 20 top notaries, three fantastic speakers (thank you Wendy Waits & Cheryl Elliott). Lunch & view were also great. But I learned so much and hope we can do it again next yr. Barbara, you'll have to come back from AZ for it!

Yes, the luncheon was fun, informative, and I felt immediately like I was among family!! It was well worth the drive and the investment of $30. I'm sorry too, Marian that you weren't able to make it - I so looked forward to meeting you in person. I look forward to future notary networking luncheons.

Photos of SoCal Notary Networking Event...
Thank you to everyone who came. It was a most informative event. Wendy, thank you for an excellent presentation and discussion on "The Pros and Cons of Forming a State Notary Association" - very well researched! Cheryl Elliott, thank you for fitting us into your busy schedule and zooming thru LA traffic to give us excellent insight to "Improved and Effective Marketing Techniques for Notaries". And I was so pleased to present our keynote speaker, Charlene Brisson who just WOW'd us all with her energy and superb presentation on "The Social Media Explosion: stop Wasting Time and Get Results NOW!" Yes, it was a great day with great associates! Remember: "We LOVE Social Marketing"!

So sorry I missed it!
I had to support my husband and travel up to Camp Verde (just south of Sedona) to look at a business oportunity that just might enable us to retire. I ask you all to support us by imagining that we can get the land we want for the price we want to pay!

An extraordinary day for me as well! Thanks to you, Barb, for all the excellent preparation and coordination for a very organized event and great keynote speaker. The venue was perfect! What a fabulous view and ambiance. I just arrived in Ojai, put on my jammies and hitting the hay at my bro's house. Just had to get on NR to let you know how much fun I had and how wonderful it was to finally meet all of you 1:1....now there is this great little hotel in the middle of nowhere completely perfect for a Central Coast Notary meeting, and October is grape harvest, weather will be much cooler, Indian summer.
I learned a lot from all of you, and hope my information was helpful to all, I'm constantly reengineering myself for all the hairpin turns this industry doles out. This next week is more for me and getting to procrastinated projects. Monthend in July just about killed me this past two weeks. I'm slowing up to catch up this week and spending a little time in the vineyard.
BTW, the two gift baskets were much appreciated by my 86 year old god mother and 96 year old Nanny from England in San Diego. They were so perfect. At their ages, they love chocolate and a bit of wine.
Until we meet again, happy trails!

As others have said, this was a fun as well as educational event and I enjoyed meeting everyone. It's good to be able to put faces to the names of those who post here. Barbara, thank you for all the work and planning you put into making it happen.
