The numbers site deleted me

My renewal date was to have been August, until they deleted me on Saturday, July 16 via an email: "Your ***.com listing (N# ****) has been deleted due to the following reason: Notary is no longer in business based on what we know."

I have never hid the fact that I quit performing loan signings a couple of years ago, and instead focus on general notarizations. I updated my profile in May after being notified that it had been "x" number of days since doing so.

I would love to know "what they know" that I don't, although my emails are being ignored.

Carolyn, maybe you should check your pulse.

Jeremy is a strange fellow

Last summer, when he started calling people at 3am to make sure they were truly available 24/7 I knew he was nuts. He refused to put the 24/7 icon on your listing if it went to voicemail. It was hilarious, folks were sleeping with their cell phones on their pillow lol.

respond favorably for you soon...that's insane.

If all else fails - post on their FB page - or Twitter - they seem to be having fun with that!!..Smile

Total lack of business courtesy and professionalism -- you'd think they'd at least try to get to the bottom of their misunderstanding as to why they believe I'm no longer in business, but after reading the responses this thread is getting, I guess I'm pretty lucky that they deleted me only a few weeks before I was planning on sending my yearly renewal fee.

As for my post over there, that's what is so ironic -- my listing is gone, but I was still able to sign in and post.

At least they communicate with you. I'd been trying to access my listing for over a year now... my password wouldn't work. I'd requested it TONS and TONS of times using their "system" and it never sent my password. After a week or two, I would get an email that said, "sent in another email" (no joke... that's what it said). And yet... I never got that "other" email with the actual password. When I complained about STILL not getting the password I needed so I could update my listing, I just got belligerent responses that it was my fault or the fault of my email server because they have sent the password. But do they ever actually respond *WITH* my password? No. It's like some kind of silly game to them.

So now, I get plenty of calls... but it's all for jobs I won't do because I've moved and can't update the listing.

I've pretty much had it with that other site and the bizarre stuff they put out there. Their facebook page is good for a laugh, though.

Good for a laugh is so true. What I really don't understand, is how they leave comments when some are just downright unfavorable to them. I would be blipping them out at times. It is a riot! LOL

Excuse my French, but this guy is the biggest @$$hole in

the notary world. He posts incorrect information on notary law all over the internet - and he admits that he has no idea what he is talking about! He claims he does it so he can get more traffic to his website. He is a complete and utter idiot, he deleted my listing for no reason other than the fact that he is a jerk. Completely full of himself and completely stupid.

Carolyn, if you really want your listing undeleted...

...try sending an actual letter. That is so rare nowadays, that it seems to get people's attention.

Re: Carolyn, if you really want your listing undeleted...

I'm not sure after reading the other responses I want to be undeleted. I haven't really made a final decision as to what I want to do about it. Unfortuntely, I'm of the philosophy, screw me once, shame on you; screw me twice, shame on me.

Today, my mission is just to get the word out, that if he did it to me, he can do it to anyone, and for all to be aware.

It's really too bad, because it used to be such a great site and where I got 90% of my calls.

Have you called Carmen?? That's the only person to deal with, unless you're too disgusted with them to bother. It's a total PIA, but I need to be listed on that site. I don't agree with the way he runs it, certainly. Too much of a power-trip, IMO.

No, I haven't called Carmen. As I just told Hugh, I'm not sure what outcome I'm after.

Right now, the important thing that I'm trying to get across is that everyone definitely needs to be aware of the problems and issues with advertising *over there.*

Re: Here is the dumbest of questions..

My renewal was coming up the first part of August. I was planning on sending the renewal fee this week, so I'm only out a couple of weeks that would be due as a refund.

Carolyn, you may want to reconsider

Almost all of my higher paying work comes from that site.
Direct calls from TCs who don't mind sharing a piece of the overstuffed pie.

I would find a way to make contact with them.

Although we see the FB page as a joke, it does get him a lot of hits. He knows how to stay active on the web.

Re: Carolyn, you may want to reconsider

I had the opposite happen when I had my listing there, I was receiving a kazillion calls from lowballers and no payers on a regular basis. So much to the point I said forget about renewing, it wasnt worth it.
