Time to begin stocking our offices

Staples just sent me their sale circular starting Sun, 7-10. For back to school, but gosh, my office needs some of these items. The have lots of penny and quarter deals. No, not legal paper sad to say...LOL

I live in WA, and Costsco offers a 10 ream case of legal paper for $40. That price has been consistent for months now. Thanks for the reminder to stock up on all the other supplies....mid-size clips are also on my shopping list routinely and I've found Sam's club is the best for that.....8 pack of 12 medium clips per package for $4.88. I'd love to know if others have found them cheaper.

I don't use any kind of clips for borrowers. I get a huge bag of rubber bands at the 99 cent store. Are you spending money for borrowers docs?

Staples offered a 15% off "season" pass earlier this week

In an email received earlier this week, for $10, you could buy a "pass" that would get you 15% off all purchases related to school supplies until early September 17. At the time, I didn't think I would recoup the cost of the pass--the pass could not be used on case paper--so I trashed the email. If anyone wants the information, send me a private message and I'll forward specifics to you.

Also a good opportunity to pick up loads of back-pack

stuff for foster kids. I try to get five back-packsful and take them to the CASA office. Many of our foster parents are poor relatives of these at-risk kids, and so I go all out with the cool colors.

Excellent idea. A dollar goes a long ways when it is pennies and quarters.

I have a school I help as I see exactly who they are helping. My granddaughter was given a scholarship so that she could stay in private church school and they are small and always in need. I've been collecting all summer through freecycle as well. Teachers love almost everything they can get for the kids and almost always put to good use.
