numbers service

Has anyone recieved Jeremy"s e-mail about his "improved" site?
He has compiled a number of list and help for a signing agent.
Good companies gone bad -
New signing companies on the block -
Call back etiquette examined -
Answering machine etiquette -
Threatening for payment (Carmen's) -
Notary in Louisiana murdered -
Physical inspections -
New Millenium title Group -
Please send a loose ack -
Finger licking during signings?

I have known Jeremy for a number of years. I may have one the eary member of his listing. The 1st time I talked with him he was going some place his car, a convertible I think-there was wind noise on the phone. He seemed like a good guy. But last year, when he started calling you at 3 AM to see if and how you answered your phone to determin if he would keep your 24/7 listing, that was a little much.

Yes I have and when I got it (the one about being a guest blog member) I wanted to know if it was directed to me or what. I found out it was sent to everyone.

I have spoke to him a couple of times over the years also. In my last correspondence (about the 24 service, late night calling) I expressed to him he better not call me unless he had a signing (that's what the site is for).

Let's just say if you are familiar with the term, 51/50...it just might apply. IMO

Although I have gotten assignments through this site, what bothers me is the "you haven't logged in for x days, either log in or lose your membership".

Ahem, is their a rebate?

Wow,...I've never gotten THAT message but both of you know what I would do if I did!

I got it, told him to remove me. He then apologized, changing the date so that this would not happen for another, what, 90 days? How infantile.

I think that every so often you need to login and update your info. I think that's a reasonable request. After all, so many notaries are leaving the business, he wants the database to be up to date. Nobody wants to look up notary after notary only to find the phones disconnected.

Now that you mentioned it, that could be correct. I usually ask potential clients how they found me and they will tell me "well I just started going down the list because nobody answered their phones or the numbers were disconnected!"

Yep...me too. I don't understand why people don't answer

the phone, but it works in my favor.

This just plain offends me. I am not a child. What is this reasoning?
