transporting medical records
There was a thread recently about transporting medical records. I have never been called for that and wonder if anybody would be willing the share with me. Who hires you to do that? I tried to google it but no luck. Thanks

My experience is that companies just find me on one database or another when they have a job in my area. I never marketed for it.

Notarizing Affidavit pertaining to Medical Records
I believe what you are referring to are requests to notarize an Affidavit pertaining to medical records. Some of the companies request that the notary forward the signed/notarized affidavit and accompanying medical records to their offices, while other companies allow the signer to forward the package back. The medical records secured are part of the "discovery process" in Worker's Comp and Personal Injury claims.
The companies which have contacted me were in Texas.

Agree with MaggieMae
I've done these, very easy....I ALWAYS call ahead of time <just like for loan signings> to confirm the appointment and speak directly to the contact person - I introduce myself, set the time with them and find out which wing in that huge hospital I go to to meet with them.
