Another pet peeve

I called to confirm my appt. for today and Mr. is in the hospital - has been for while also. How do they even schedule something like this? It has been recheduled for Sat. 3pm and X or Y is coming to do it.

Why couldn't they sent an email if they don't want to talk to me to let me know it has been recheduled? This company is beginning to be on its last legs with me.

So they scheduled you then shopped around and got

someone else for the reschedule? IMO If that's the case it would be more than "last legs" with me..

And you had to know someone was gonna ask - who? Name company please?

Richmond Title (FLEX) did that with me after I saved them a print & trip fee by finding major errors on the HUD. The borrower called me to let me know he was running late 2 days later is how I found out. I called them and they said "It has been reassigned". After I have jumped thru hoops for them for nearly 5 years, I was done with them.

I began quoting them $50 higher than my high rate after that and told them why. It wasn't a mistake on their part so I could care less about "helping them out" anymore. They get the same amount of respect they give, IMO.

Go Moneyman! Recently one of my Fav told me they were lowering their fees, but not for me. I said Ooh that's alright because I would be raising mine. They asked why and I answered that because I had been charging the same amount for the last two years, over 150 signings, I deserved a pay raise. I asked them if they were making the same as they were two years ago? I got my increase..Honestly!

Great job James! I like your question to them as well. It kind of puts things in perspective.

I feel that these signing companies don't have any respect for us. Cut fees, late doc's, then after accepting more, requests on confirmation. They seem to think theres is the only order you have for the day. You tell them you have to have doc's by a certain time or you can't do it. If I am 50 miles out I do not want to drive back and the go another distance because the doc's are late. I am in a rural area so there are a lot of miles connected with the appointments. If they call you the a couple of days before, you schould have doc's on time. And I have had to hear from the borrower than the time had been changed or canceled.. We are the face that they see and if they want the cheap agents that is the kind of service they are going to be getting.
