AtHome Signings

In 2010, I did some work for AtHome Signings that I haven't been paid for. I've talked with them numerous times. I'm ticked off and would like to talk to an attorney about it but I know that's not feasible unless there was a group of us. If your in the same boat and would like to pursue this with me, sent me an email at [e-mail address].

My last signing for her was feb 2010. I have given up talking to Bea.
I, only, did this one as a favor because I did much for her as a "newbee" when became a NSA over 10 yrs ago. But when I increased my fees past $50 for overnight (we didn't do e-dos then) she wouldn't pay more.
It's a shame she has become such a "flake".

My signing for At Home Signings was October 10, 2010. I gave up and wrote it off as a bad debt. I am now listening to promises and lies from Fidelity National Title/Charlie Kim and associates. This debt is from October 6 and Rory Sanders is their contact.

Live and learn!

Paid March 5 for an October 27 signing, and after several calls to Bea. She blames the owner and the loss of a large account that didn't pay them.

In July 2010 Bea was saying that the owner had been sick, in the hospital etc.

I did a modification for this company last month. Shame on me for not checking Signing Central before accepting the assignment. I received the documents directly from Citi Mortgage. I wondering if I should email them and let them know that she is not paying the notaries?

It wouldn't hurt to notify them - worst that could happen would be that they say it's not their problem. If enough people complain to the lender that they are being stiffed on payment, maybe the lender will eventually see the light.
