I recommend you check out the technical specs before you buy, also:

This one looks like it's not designed for lots of heavy duty printing and it's not too fast. However, it's available at that price or lower via Amazon or possibly elsewhere.
I haven't yet read your post about the Canon yet, but will check it out. I have a used Canon I use mostly for faxing and scanning that I think I paid $75 for. Works great for that, but it's a real toner hog. The "toner save" feature is cumbersome to access and doesn't seem to make any difference.
