Called about missing seal five months later

I just got a call today from a tc that I did a signing for back in October 2010. They said I missed my seal. I find it odd especially since this is on tc that makes you fax over docs .
I will see how it looks when it arrives. It needs to look like my venue!

and it went to the county recorder who caught it there. Just goes to show you, even with all the fax backs, somebody still didn't catch it.

You should be able to do a loose acknowledgement, just make sure you put all the info in regarding the description of the document.

Ask them to send you a copy to prove that you, in fact, did miss the seal. I would NEVER take anyone's word for a mistake they claim I may have made.

With the restructuring of the lending industry compliance guidelines, comes audits. Expect more of this - a nightmare for the lending institutions.
