Don't print to Quick.....
I just did... I have a signing in Virginia Beach tonight and I wanted to go early and talk to some title companies before my appt. So i just hit the buttons and started to print. The package was 132 pages... Before I printed the second set, I looked. After a cover sheet it had 28 pages of instructions on how to sign some of the most basic forms (didn't get these pages in the past). I then called the title company and talked to a person I know that works there. She told me to not print those pages , that I didn't need instructions. So I asked, why would you use someone that needs these pages. I was told that sometimes they slip up and send a signing to someone who needs them, so they started to send them to everyone.

Re: Don't print too quickly.....
I always take a glimpse through the pdf before printing. Some companies add a page in front of every to-be-notarized document that says SIGN IN FRONT OF NOTARY. I don't print those, either. And the 28-page instructions? I print one copy, but I don't print it for the borrowers.

Re: Don't print too quickly.....
I usually just print the Specific Closing instructions but not the General ones for the borrowers. (For some reason, I end up getting lots of technical types lately...) I wonder sometimes, though, which costs more - the extra paper and toner for all those needless pages, or the time it takes to select them out when you go to print. Annoying either way you look at it...

Re: Don't print too quickly.....
IMO printing is so cheap vs time it takes to pick out unwanted docs I just print all. If there are docs the borrowers don't need I toss them as I go through and put in the order I like to present them.
