EAST WEST SETTLEMENT
I've done closings for this person and they have not paid since last November. PLEASE Stay away. they say they mailed the checks. Well I guess they mailed it to TIMBUKTU.
The file they gave me was a very big file. Right now, I've emailed the title company, and the lender.

I have been paid on time except once. And they called me to explain I should have the check in a couple of days and I did.
They typically pay when they get paid by the TC, which can be 30-45 days out by the time you get your check.
They are struggling for business like everyone else, too.
I have had positive experience with them in general. They are a SS, so they have lower fees, but they also will give me a higher fee if/when they get a higher fee from the TC. They automatically pass that on (to me, anyways) without asking.
