Final Link Signings

Just want everyone to know that Final Link is not paying again. Is it just me? They now owe me $200 from two signings I performed for them in October and November of 2010. I have emailed them and called them a numerous times and been given excuses as to why it has not been sent. The last time was on 2/21/2011 and I was told it would be out within the week. Nothing as yet.

My question is with their reputation (mostly 1 star here) why would you work for them? Especially twice? You did one for them in Oct and they did not pay you and then you did another in Nov and they didn’t pay you. Do you see a pattern here?

I have a lot of S.S. companies that take a while to pay 30 to 60 days. So sometime I take a chance. This time it bit me.

With a company I haven’t worked with before I may chance one assignment, and won’t do another until I get paid. I have heard that some of these deadbeats give you one, pay you on that one, then give you 5 more and don’t pay. So I may be doing it wrong too? I’m not near as busy as I was, so now I have time to check here. If they don’t have a sterling reputation I don’t take it.

They are slow in pay, but I have always gotten paid. Once the beginning of the following month comes in and no check, I email them by Friday. I get my check on the weekend or beginning of the week. I would call accounting.

I did a signing for this company 2/17/2011 and have not received payment. Today I wrote a letter to the title company and emailed them a copy of the letter. They called me within an hour to say that the check was mailed yesterday. We will see. I had never heard of this company until February this year. Doubt if they will do much business in this area.
