First American FASS
After 3 years of white glove status with First Am. I was dumped today because a pkg was lost thru FED EX. They never called me just locked me out of their system. I know that I have closed over 500 loans for them. I called and was told Sorry, but you are done as of today. Proves we are just a number to them.

This is ridiculous. They need to find a fall guy....girl...you're it. I was dumped simply because several LOs at Chase in my area insisted FASS use only me. FASS didn't like the loss of control.
Well, chalk it up to experience and move on. My feelings were not hurt in the least. I have replaced them with better, less micromanaging, clients.
HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!

They aren't the only company that will dump the notary because of something out of the notary's control. It's happened to me even though I do quality work and had received many good reviews. This is why I have my own company policies that I stick to....I do no brown-nosing to get in good with a company...because I know they don't give a crap about the notary. I've made my own rules for accepting a signing; I tell them up front what my rules are, and if they don't like it...they can call someone else.

The very same thing happened to me recently...I had done over 500 closings, a package was lost and they blamed me even though I had a receipt to prove I did make the drop...They would not listen to me, just found me guilty of a major offense and dropped me.....But don't worry as there are other companies that pay much more.

Sometimes when one gets dropped
it is a very liberating thing. You may grow to love it. If not, you will get over it. And you will, if you apply yourself, find it better going.

I wouldn't worry about FASS if I were you. They have dropped me more than once but a different scheduling agent will still call me occasionally. It's almost like they forgot they dropped you. I think they do it just to get their kicks. Give it time and another scheduling agent will call you.

Same here, been dropped for not contacting borrower in limited amount of time or not entering the contact made (on the road). They wait a while and then call when they run out of signing agents and I have raised my fees every time this happens. I really don't care if they call me or not. They micromanage to the point I just don't have time to pamper them.
