I just bought this machine about a month ago. Its a true workhouse and a lot cheaper than the HP products.

I bought the Brother 5370dwt last July-worked beautifully till December. Then it started jamming every few pages. I replaced the drum and cartridge. Got so fed up-Brother finally sent me a refurb unit. That one worked for 6 weeks and started having the same paper jamming issues-hence, I'm now on my third one. It's a shame, because they it works right-it;s a great machine.

I have the same printer and it works great!!! Are you sure it not the paper you are using? The paper can cause jamming problems. In the past I would buy 6 cases of legal at a time. I would put it in a room with a concrete floor and I would have a few problems. Moved the paper and no problem.

I tried xerox from Business Supply and went back to Staples paper but continued to have the same jam problems. I'm crossing my fingers on the third one-thank goodness for warranties.

I also purchased some of this legal size paper. It was the worst paper I have ever used. It had more than average moisture content for copy paper and curled very very badly. So bad I had to baby sit it when printing, pulling out printed pages every 5-10 pages, otherwise it would kick pages out on the floor and sometimes jam the printer. I couldn't wait to get thru it and even gave some away. I have to wonder they do not know this when they have the paper sales.

Brother printers run hotter then HP printers, which can cause the paper to curl.
