Insured Closings
Anybody gotten paid by them lately? I saw the "bad check" postings, but was still hopeful that I would be paid for a signing on 1/24. On 3/8, I was told my check was being sent the next day, but it must be coming by burro because I have yet to receive it. Anybody having any luck?

I was paid promptly when I sent an email requesting an update on my past due invoices and asking for their payment terms (which are supposed to be 45 days from signing). Good luck.

Re: All Signing agencys
Please use Notary Rotary for all that is worth, because if you do you and me and a lot of others stand a better chance of not being scamed or cheated out of our very hard earned fees. Here is what we all must do: #1 contact every one that has had a problem with a signing agency; #2 find out who they used for a title company and lender; #3 keep this list handy and when you see a new post concerning the same signing agency contact the people who posted the complaint and share your info with them. We believe that some title companies and lenders are using certain signing agencies because of their low fees, and they know about the signing companies business practices. This is an on going criminal enterprise and needs to be brought to the attention of your State Attorney and the Secretary of State.

Re: Insured Closings -- Still owe me from a 2007 closing
I don't really expect them to pay me and would only accept future assignments with pre-payment of double my normal fee for one job, but that is just me.
These people lie and are deadbeats in my book.

I did 2 signing appointments for them in March. It's now June and no payment so far. I called them today inquiring of payment. They told me the check will be mailed tomorrow. Not sure if I believe that. I will not be doing business with them anymore. Did you ever get paid Marty?

They are still bouncing checks they cant even cover a 50 $ check, this company is on the ropes, I would advise all notaries to stay clear and let them fade away.

I've worked for them since 2001 and it kills me to say you all are right. I'm owed for two in March and April and keep getting the same run-around emails. Next time they call, I'm out too.

I did a closing for them in February. I emailed a reminder in May for payment but didn't receive a response. However, in July I sent a follow up email and mailed a copy of it to their Ohio address and received a prompt payment, which did clear my bank. In fairness to them, I wanted to post to this forum that they honored their payment, and when notified of non-payment, they promptly responded.
I would recommend that you send notice by both email and regular mail, perhaps the email isn't making it through?
