James White/This Guy is a THIEF

I can't believe my eyes. This guy is up to his old tricks again. I just read a post: Should I hire an attorney posted on 3-25-11. She is owed by this thief. I haven't seen any post about him since he ripped me off back in June of 2009. Well, the last post was actually on 8/25/11, I believe. I did some work for him in 2009(three jobs very close together). He didn't pay! I e-mailed and called many times. I even got him on the phone after a while and he told me the check would go out that day. HE LIED again. He had no intentions of mailing me a check. If you will type in the search engine here on Notary Rotary you will find many bad comments about him. I can't believe he is still up to no good and that Service Link has anything to do with him. They know he doesn't pay the notaries because I told them. He is listed under the business name of NC Signing & Title Abstracting Co. located in Whitsett, NC. 27377. Finally, one more thing about him, this one takes the cake. In Dec. I arrived at a closing, and the borrowers came to the door saying they had just got a call from a James White from a 919 # and he told them their closing had been cancelled. They argued with him because they knew I was on the way. He finally hung up. If I knew how to get my money and stop him, beleive me, I would. Anybody else feel my pain right now???

I am with you!!!! He still owes me for two closings. I went to his place of business in Whitsett to try to collect last summer. The place was locked up and looked vacant. I can't believe it, I was just thinking about him, Loan Signers Inc., and Eyewitness Notary over the weekend. Those three companies STILL OWE ME!!!!!!! I know I will never see a dime of it! As hard as we all work it just pisses me off to work for FREE!!!

I am the one, that he ripped of in January!! I sent him a certified letter and it came back today!! We need to stop him some how!! There is a notary that is working with him, which Servicelink hires and they farm it out to us notary! I need her name, anybody know who she is? We need to report her. Her license needs to be revoked!! When I called servicelink they said they hired another notary to do the job!! Service link said they hired James White in 2009!! He needs to be stop, I am willing to do anything to stop him and get my money!!

There has to be something that can be done, especially if you know where he lives. I am willing to go to Whitsett or wherever to serve papers if I only knew what the best steps were to take. I have already spent alot of time trying to collect, but if I knew of a sure fired way to stop him, believe my I would attempt it. I am now more concerned for all the notaries he is taking for a ride than collecting my fees from 2009. Although, it would be nice to get my money. This is just not right for him to operate as he does.

Since you're in the same state, why can't you take him to small claims court? The only problem is that if it was an LLC or such they can't be touched personally (at least that's my understanding.)

I mean, I'm not an atty by ANY means. It may even be a point that's already been discussed. Sorry if that's the case. Just wondering if that would be an option.

I would go after this guy with everything I had if he'd pulled these chanigans on me. You all need to collectively chase him down. He needs to be investigated by your State's Attorney General.

My case is a little different, James White hired me, however ServiceLink, said they had no record of me doing the loans, they paid some other notary, ServiceLink would not give me the information what notary they hire to do these 2 closings. I told ServiceLink, I had proof I did them. They also told me they fired James White in 2009. That Whittset address is a privately owned FedEx place. James White has a P.O box there. I called the owner and spoke to her.

How would I find out what agencies he works with or for? ServiceLink hire another notary and she farmed it out to James White and then he farmed it out to me!! And she got paid for it!! How stupid I was!! I'm not sure who that notary was, however she was paid by ServiceLink.
