Micromanaging SS's

I had a signing with a company called FLEX, signed a FLAGSTAR bank refinance with a vested non borrowing party.

The package was simple, but I had a total of 8 emails from FLEX hovering over me like roadkill.

It was high maintenance, their site keeps going down. Am I just being picky? I'm not accustomed to all that followup. They seem to think I had no other commitments but theirs. Gotta a follow up call, was I on time, how did the signing go? holly cow. Meanwhile, I'm trying to conduct signings before and after. I wonder how much they would like it if I were receiving all these mm'g calls during the signing of their client.

I hope they pay you more, because in my area they only offered me 80.00 with edocs and faxbacks which in my opinion is a ridiculous fee.

They did pay more, there were only 11 pp to faxback...point is, I have many more better paying, less micromanaging customers. They were astounded that I am not in their system. I think they called me once, and I was too busy. Reminds me a lot of Moses in Motion in the early years.

That's unacceptable and sorry you had to go thru that. My confirmation email for orders includes a ton of information that also states unless contact is initiated by a call or email from me or the borrower, EVERYTHING is a good and they will hear back from me within 1 hour of completion. I stress that I run a business and cannot, will not be chained to the phone or email. Its unprofessional. So far, it has saved me lots of grief.

sounds like they are being hounded by title. we had a title co asking us to do 1000 closings per month, but the attention to the notary was rediculous. we turned them down, also because of their low fee offer.

I hate that. It usually follows that the lowest paying cos. do the most handholding. It's a real PIA.
IMO they don't pay enough to command that much of my attention/time. Too many of these cos. are accustomed to working with notaries that are clueless. As we all know, if they'd do their homework & hire the top professionals at a decent fee they wouldn't have to do that. Most of the companies I work with operate that way. No nonsense on either side of the fence. I prefer that.
