Print Software?

My Computer is having some issues with the video card, (Im told) so printing my docs via my email from PDF format, is just not working! Takes me HOURS to print a set of Docs- unacceptable of course!

If anyone has great advice with what they use, other than Adobe Reader (Dont have Acrobat), I would appreciate some help!

know nothing, but sounds to me like it's new video card time. Doesn't get any better than pdf.

Before shelling out $$$ for a video card try this:
In Adobe when you click on print, a print window opens.
Then click on Advanced.
In the advanced windoe click on Print as image. Then OK.
This should help with print speed.

You can get Adobe 10.1 reader by simply downloading. There is no charge for the software and it works just fine with any operating system. I'm using it on an XP Pro box and a Win7 laptop. Another hint is to go into the print quality area of Adobe and set it for either 'Draft' or the lowest DPI 600x600 and this should make your printer work faster. One more thing that could be slowing your printer down is the amount of memory in both the printer and the computer. If you just have a 1Gig then that's part of your problem. Try adding memory up to 4 Gig or the max and then add memory to the printer. It will make everything go faster. HTH.
