Re: Payment from Notary signing Co.
How long do you think is fair time to wait for Notarization Payments. And how do you handle Companies that wait 3-4 months for pay. Here when we get a call from a signing company we hurry to: 1. confirm appointment with borrower 2. print docs 3. do the signing 4. mail out package. They expect to be punctual getting to the appointment, then we have to wait for payment. Don't they get the money from title within a week depending when it closes? So why do we have to wait for payment. I am speaking about Speedy Signing and Final Link. Has anyone done signings for these people????

You're preaching to the choir, Rosita. Many of us have
learned to use Signing Central here to check out companies before we get stuck, even though there's always risk involved. I would suggest you don't rely only on the star ratings, but view comments posted by others from their experience. You have to be logged in to view that info. Good luck.

Re: Payment from Notary signing Co.
Watch this board daily. Avoid those companies you read about. They won't treat you any differently. You only want to work for the best ones out there. Unfortunately, there are many companies in business who pay themselves but forget to pay the notary who as you say has done all the due diligence to get the loan closed and to funding. so where does your payment come in....months later or not at all. We're on it, join us to defeat this methodology by some companies in SC by not taking work from them or getting paid up front.

Frank at Speedy Signing Services is an outright thug and crook. But most of his work comes from LSI, If you call LSI Vendor Control he will pay you in a hurry. He only gets away with his crooked ways because most notaries get intimidated by his threatening attitude but he sure straightens up after you call LSI

Why does LSI keep hooking up with these signing services? Years ago they used to use LIA Signing until they got so many non-payment complaints. LSI also contracts directly with notaries.

Re: Payment from Notary signing Co.
Thank you all for your info. I will call LSI. I just called Frank this last Monday to ask him did he send my check on a slow boat from China and that if he did it would have gotten here sooner. I did this signing on 11/17/10. I have called him just about every week. When I called him on a Monday Feb 8, he said check had gone out on Saturday February 8th. I called him on March 3rd a Ron answered and told I had not received the check Frank said he sent on February 6th. He said oh I will mail it out today no later than tomorrow. If you get the other check just tear it up. Well it is Friday March 11th and no check.

Re: Payment from Notary signing Co.
Rosita, those two companies are ones that have well established non-pay reputations on this forum. Or at the very least, you must go through much hassle to pry your payment out of their hands. I choose not to work for them when they call. Not all companies take that long to pay.
