SC Star Ratings~interesting exercise
There are around 686 companies listed in SC. If you sort descending by last date updated for 2010 and year to date, you'll see there are fewer and fewer companies rated (unavailable, one or two stars). Lots of these completely dropped off the radar screen, in the years 2006-2009. Companies reputations change with the times.

No, James, there are some on the bottom who are still in business and have recent ratings. This is sorting by when the business was added; not by last post about them.

James, I think we want to know about these guys too, in case they try to resurface when market conditions improve.
The first two and 1/3 pps of this list, when you print out the entire 11 pages, are the meat of the vendor list.
I hope this helps everyone on this board drill down to who they should and should not be working with.

As usual, I didn't explain for understanding..
What I was referencing was new vs old.....Older companies have established themselves as either good or bad, we pretty much now who they are because we have experience with them (even me by now). However, it is the new, upstarts that we need to post about, the one's with unavailable ratings, etc., That was the point I was making and failed to explain. Please accept my "bumbling apologies".
