SO CAL NOTARY SIGNING AGENTS
This woman/owner is bizarre and crazy. I reduced my fee for a refi signing in Eagle, CO on Feb 5. The documents were such a mess, it took almost a ream of paper to print. Then she asked me to corrupt the files and insert new documents, all for $100. Her text response was to call the mortgage agent when I first texted at 6:30 am for clarification. When I called the lender to explain I would not corrupt the files, as I felt it was unethical, we both decided to call off the signing until we got better paperwork. This psycho woman from SO CAL notary then screamed at me for not doing the signing and I was never paid a dime, even though I had printed all the docs. I told her to do me a favor and never call me again. I made sure my doors were locked that night---a real psycho who should be avoided at all costs.

And this woman's name was/is? There are a few there so it's not fail if you name them all. IMO

I do not believe this is to do with my company, SoCal Signing Co, as we do not have any notaries by the name of Chloe in CO... Please do let me know if I am mistaken though. 866-435-6906 Lisa

this person is new, I think, as a search of her login name
reveals this being her only post.
Lisa, this may not be her real name?
And I find it interesting that she/he/it is posting this NOW.
I don't understand what corrupting the files means? How can you corrupt files?
This post seems to be a bit suspicious like smear tactic against the named company....just my .02

This wouldn't be the first time, and it won't be the last. I appreciate what you're saying. Thank you so much!

Yea I can still vividly remember working for Lisa and being paid a bizillion to save a rate lock expiration at a big lost to her regarding fees. She offered everything she could to get it done. It was in a remote location pass Devil's slide on the treacherous California coast after ten PM in the fog...We got it done, I'll always remember that!

What do you mean when you say "corrupting" the file? Do you mean they sent you revised docs?

I too had a recent situation with corrupt files.
However, thanks to a patient borrower and a VERY PROFESSIONAL Lisa and staff at SoCal, the problem was finally identified and we were able to close the file.
From my experience, Lisa considers notaries to be part of the team.
Corrupt files are part of the biz--too many cooks! As long as everyone works together and as long as everyone is updated, good people can worek these things out!

Closed my 1st for So Cal in November 2010. No problem. Seemed very professional and pleasant to work with. Would definately work for them again.
