Sign of the Times?
Just heard that Lending Tree has acquired one the title companies that I currently partner with. Unfortunately, closing coordinators, i.e. scheduling department will be dissolved and loan signings will be outsourced to Notarized247 and Nations Direct. Need I say more?
I was also told that this information has not been communicated nor emailed to the other Notary Signing Agent partners as of yet because the logistics are still being worked out.
Stay tuned….

YOU are sooooo correct. They are over extended and must partner with someone who's gonna help keep them afloat.....at the expense of the notary.
Pay up front, 15 days or less, that will stop a lot of this " ....well I'll get another notary BS". The problem is they are monitoring the views of the savvy premier notaries here while courting the basic members as well as the non posters who never visit this and other sites.
They're looking for notaries who say things like...." I did a notary yesterday and...yada yada". I am specifically calling you out because I watch your subliminal, hidden agenda post on this site daily. You know who you are and of course it's obvious as Forest Gump, stupid does as stupid is.
I guess my telephone will stop ringing but at least I can say what I feel.

Might be a good idea to contact Lending Tree and let them know who they have hired. They won't know the situation until they start getting calls "after the fact" from notaries not getting paid. Just a thought.

This must be the vast new accounts Nations Direct has contracted. Either Lending Tree is reducing their fees to Nations Direct or Nations Direct is trying to capitalize on the large number of loans they have acquired by low balling every notary they contact! I tend to go with the latter.....
