"Ways to improve your agent ranking"
Some of you probably received the email for a seminar from a well known title company. What caught my eye was that one of the topics would be "ways to improve your agent ranking". The last time I spoke with their personnel dept. over fees, it was recommended I lower my fees to receive more calls and "improve my ranking". I have a 100% score card so a high score does NOT guarantee more business. I told the individual that I was going to keep my fees and when those other agents are busy, then I would be glad to work with them if available. The problem is that once you register a lower fee, then you are stuck. I'll take my chances. I did close one for this company this a.m. for my non-negotiable fee that is in their files. Opportunities will arise as those other agents run around filling their calenders with $65-$90 jobs.

Absolutely right, Marilyn. And kudos for sticking to fees that you know are right. Hmmmfph... 'improve your ranking' 'white gloves' 'you'd get more business if...' But 100% accuracy is overlooked, not important. How many ways can they tell us what's really on their minds. And how short-sighted of them to think this way.
