e-Signings - Fiserv Enhancements

Someone forgot to share this information, so I guess I will. I had a Flagstar/Fiserv e-signing yesterday. It appears that the programmers made a few small enhancements. The folks at the help desk stated this occurred two weeks ago, but not documentation or communication has been sent out as of yet.

First, each document is now categorized by type, i.e. e-sign, ink sign, view and sign. E-sign are those documents that must electronically sign; ink sign are those must be wet signed and sign documents can either be electronically signed or ink signed. I’m not sure about the view type.

Secondly, at the beginning of the e-signing, there are two options (links) available. The first is selected if ink documents are to be printed. The second option will be selected, if ink sign documents have already been printed. This selection will take you to the signing room where only e-sign and sign documents are staged. Again, if ink sign documents have been printed, then only the e-sign and sign documents will appear.

I think this new enhancement is a great improvement from the previous, but there are still something things that could be done to make the e-signing more streamline. IMHO

As a note, much of my summary is by memory; therefore, I am positive I left something out. Consequently, I ask that you charge to my head and not my heart.

Good to hear that they have made some changes. It was a real PIA to have to go through each individual document, even the ones intended to have wet signatures. Now if they would just batch some of them together like AmTrust does, it would save even more time.

I've refused to take any more of those, because you had to go through every document, including the one's that were paper. I'm glad to hear they've addressed the problem. It was much too time-consuming as it was.
