signing prices and fuel costs

just curious but what is the current rate for Notaries for Loan Nods, loans of about 100 plus pages, auto loans, ect.?
secondly has anyone started adding a surcharge due to the increase cost of gas?? I am in Massachusetts and the prices for gas are going crazy like everyone else!!!!!

I have requested a 5-15 bump depending on mileage for closing. In most cases I have not had any problems. I asked one of my biggest clients for a $15 bump for a closing and she told me they have been instructed they can bump as much as $25. She gave me the $25, I couldn't thank her enough.

Whoa that is great some companies are so tight they squeal. some are very understanding. When I tell I have to charge more they say well we will have to get an approval and then I know they are calling someone else who will do it for them and that is what is hurting us to get paid more for these signings...
