I had a closing with service link - this week - it rescheduled not once not twice not three times, but SIX. Then Landsafe sends me documents directly today and GUESS What SErvice Link sent it to someone else . So now after missing 4 other "potential closings" since was was "marking off my calender" for those appointments - I've printed documents and guess what NO MULA. . . . Just wasted a pretty day and UGH . . . . . .. . . . . . .. . . Love it how they state "we did not re-schedule with you ........ Then why send me docs ? I wish these schedulers at least said Sorry - . . . . ..

That's just way wrong. And 'sorry' really isn't good enough. ServiceLink, you should do right and at the very least pay for printing that you sent out.

My "mistake" in allowing them to stay on my calender without documents w/in 2 hours.

It all started on Tuesday (got a speeding ticket since I was speeding to make it back to the office in time for get documents by email) - and then went to Thursday and then Friday and now Sat.

Just when it moves from 4 to 6 - you really think it will go . . . .At least I accepted 2 on friday and did them and was not "waiting" for this to happen.

It's just one of those things I need to remember - documents in hand - appointment then goes to "scheduled", it's tentative at best until then.

Yea, I agree...and with Landsafe, they always want fax backs! About 20 pages.

Send them an invoice for $35 for printing. If you don't bill them, they certainly won't pay. And if you do bill them and they don't pay, you'll know what kind of deadbeat you were rearranging your day for...who ultimately threw you under the bus.

I'd have bailed after the second reschedule. Any company that is that disorganized is not worth dealing with .... or wasting my time over.

My thoughts too Julie...

I'd definitely bill a print fee - maybe a cancellation fee too under the circumstances.

Thank heavens I don't have any of those issues...never have...I've been very lucky.

Going forward, maybe it would work to let the hiring party know their appointment time is tentative until you receive docs - if docs are received in time for their original appt, then that will be the appt, otherwise, when you receive docs you will call and set the time with the borrower.

Very good way to retaliate, stay organized, send the message! I like that suggestion, and may give it a try. Thanks.
