Android phone
Does anyone know a way to get the text messages off the Android phones and put them on a CD? Also voice mails? This is for a legal proceeding.

Why not try calling your wireless service, tech support?

To my knowledge there is no way to do what you propose easily.
You can forward them to an email account (one at a time). or Get a good camera and start snapping pix of the text messages, then type a transcript to go along with it.
For sound:
Put it on speaker and record it with a microphone in your computer, or Put a digital cord into the head phone jack and plug the other digital end (looks like headphone plug) into your microphone jack on your computer. You can probably capture the sound in your Windows Movie Maker.

I was thinking that like with my iPhone I have a data cable - gonna try to hook it up to PC tonite and see if I can do that with my phone. I know I can access pics and videos that way. Not sure about text messages.
As far as the voice mails I suggested using a recorder to record them and then transcribe them.
Verizon was not much help to our client.

I recommend Brenda's idea..I have a HTC HD2 that I'm
currently involved with a Love-Hate relationship....I believe its an Android, although I've seen it referenced separately....
But all of my texts, work related, get sent to my email for saving....
Can she 'sync' her phone with her computer....? My phone offers that option, for files, and contacts, etc. Maybe she can do this with her texts?? I dunno...but I think my next phone is NOT going to be a HTC....got one more year on my frickin' contract, then ADIOS!

At least you can get Netflix on an HTC.
The new Droid app for Netflix just came out...for about seven models, but not mine.

There is a program
that will turn your voicemails into a sound file on your computer. My hubby did that with the last voicemail my dad left me. before he passed.
I will ask him tonight what program he used and let you know.
